Terms of use
Last updated: 10 October 2026
These terms apply to every AppDisplay app and to this website. They are short and in plain language. If you use an app, you agree to them.
Who we are
AppDisplay is the developer name of Ben Picot, an independent app developer in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@appdisplay.co.uk. How we handle data is explained in our privacy policy.
Your licence to use the apps
When you download an app from the Apple App Store, the Mac App Store or Google Play, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement or Google Play’s terms apply alongside these terms. If they conflict, the store’s terms win for matters the store controls, such as payments and refunds.
Please do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the apps, remove their notices, or use them to break the law.
Purchases
Some apps are free with an optional one-time “Pro” unlock. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. The price is shown in the store before you buy, and refunds, receipts and restoring a purchase on a new device are handled by the store. You can restore a past purchase from the app’s Settings with the same store account. Free trials or previews, where offered, are described in the app.
Your data and your responsibility
Most AppDisplay apps keep what you add on your own device, so you are responsible for backing it up. Deleting an app deletes its data. Some apps offer optional features, such as iCloud sync or an account, which are explained in the app and in the privacy policy.
Not professional advice
The apps help you organise information and see simple calculations, estimates and projections. They are not financial, legal, tax, insurance or medical advice, and results depend on what you enter. Please check anything important yourself, and speak to a qualified professional for decisions that matter.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the apps reliable but cannot promise they will always be free of errors or available on every device or operating system version. We may update, change or stop an app, and we may update these terms. Material changes are shown on this page with a new date.
Our responsibility
The apps are provided “as they are”. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law, or our responsibility for anything that cannot legally be limited, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for data lost because it was not backed up. Our total responsibility for any claim relating to an app is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
