AppDisplay apps are built to keep what you add private. Most of them do not collect any data at all. This page explains what each app does, what the website does, and who to ask.
Who we are
AppDisplay is the developer name used on the Apple App Store, the Mac App Store and Google Play. AppDisplay is an independent app developer based in the United Kingdom, run by Ben Picot. This privacy policy applies to every app listed below and to the website appdisplay.co.uk. You can contact us at privacy@appdisplay.co.uk.

“Collect” means data that leaves your device and reaches us or a service we use. Apple and Google process purchases under their own privacy policies. This table matches the privacy information on each app’s App Store page.
Your information in the apps
Information you add to an AppDisplay app is stored on your device. It stays there unless you choose an optional sync feature (BrickDisplay account sync, or MicroPayDisplay’s optional iCloud sync on iPhone). We do not use what you add to build advertising profiles, and we cannot read data that never leaves your device.
Because the data lives on your device, deleting an app deletes its data. Back up your device to keep a copy.

BrickDisplay
Works on your device. An optional account syncs your collection through Firebase. Analytics only with consent.
SewDisplay
The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob and collects usage and diagnostic data. Pro removes ads.
WarrantyDisplay
Everything you add, including photos and receipts, stays on your device. Nothing is collected.
SubDisplay
Everything stays on your device. The optional Apple subscription import reads your Apple Music subscriptions on the device only.
MicroPayDisplay
Your data stays on your device. On iPhone you can switch on optional iCloud sync, handled by Apple under your own iCloud account. From version 1.5 you can choose to share anonymous usage data; it is off unless you say yes.
NoBuyDisplay
Everything stays on your device. Photos you choose for wishlist items are stored on the device only. From version 1.2 on iPhone (1.4 on Android) you can choose to share anonymous usage data; it is off unless you say yes.
StatsDisplay
System information is read and shown on your Mac and is not sent anywhere.
PrintDisplay
Images and PDFs are processed on your device. Nothing is collected. Not yet released.
BrickDisplay account sync
BrickDisplay account sync is optional. If you create or sign in to a BrickDisplay account, Firebase Authentication stores the sign-in details needed to identify you, such as your email address, provider, verification status and user ID. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the provider may share your name so it can be shown in your account. BrickDisplay does not create a public profile, ask for your address or phone number, or use account data for advertising.
Your synced collection is stored in Firebase Firestore so the app and website can show the same LEGO sets, minifigures, wishlist and Collector Mode progress. This includes the fields you choose to save, such as set number, name, quantity, condition, value, notes and storage location. You can delete your account and synced data at any time in the app or on the web.
App analytics
BrickDisplay, SewDisplay, NoBuyDisplay and MicroPayDisplay use app analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase). It records aggregate usage and performance such as which screens are used, plus app-instance or device information and approximate location. It never includes the names or numbers of the sets you own, your wishlist, spending, debts, balances, payments or your email address. Event data is kept for up to 14 months.
NoBuyDisplay (iPhone 1.2 and Android 1.4) and MicroPayDisplay (1.5 and later): analytics is off by default. After setup the app asks once whether to share anonymous usage data, and nothing is collected unless you say yes. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy, and turning it off stops collection and resets the analytics data held on your device. These apps do not use the advertising identifier.
BrickDisplay 4.1 and later: analytics is off by default. On first launch the app asks for a date of birth to choose the right settings and keeps only the resulting age group. People aged 16 and over are asked whether to share anonymous usage data, and analytics only starts if they say yes. For anyone under 16, analytics stays off. You can change your choice in Settings at any time.
Advertising
Only the free version of SewDisplay shows ads, using Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, app interactions and diagnostics to deliver, personalise, measure and protect ads. Where required, the app asks for your choices first and you can review them from the app’s settings. If you do not consent to personalised ads, Google may show non-personalised or limited ads. SewDisplay Pro removes ads. No other AppDisplay app shows ads or uses an advertising identifier. Google explains its practices in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Children
AppDisplay apps can be used by people of all ages. BrickDisplay under 13 works fully on the device but does not offer cloud accounts and does not collect analytics; optional accounts are available from 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email privacy@appdisplay.co.uk and we will delete it.
Permissions the apps may ask for
- Notifications — reminders such as expiry, renewal or payment dates. Scheduled on your device.
- Photos — only the photos you choose to attach to an item.
- Media & Apple Music — SubDisplay, to import eligible Apple subscriptions on your device.
- Internet — BrickDisplay (sync, sign-in), SewDisplay (ads, analytics), and NoBuyDisplay and MicroPayDisplay (optional analytics only) use the network for app features.
This website
Most pages work without an account or advertising cookies. The hosting provider may process basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and requested page, to deliver and secure the site.
Contact form. When you use our contact form, your name, email address, enquiry type and message are sent to Formspree so we can receive and reply to your enquiry. Formspree may also process technical information needed to deliver the form and prevent spam. We use this information only to respond, discuss the work you asked about and keep an appropriate business record. You can instead email us directly, and you can ask us to delete your correspondence.
Optional analytics. If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate website use, such as pages viewed, general device and browser information, approximate region, traffic source and clicks from a product page to its App Store or Google Play listing. Analytics does not load until you select “Accept analytics”, and declining loses no functionality. Your choice is saved in your browser; change it any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Declining stops future collection from this browser but does not delete previously aggregated reports. We do not use this information for advertising or sell it.

Changes
If an app or the website changes what it collects, this page is updated before the change goes live. The date above shows the latest update.
